Hiring the Right Person

The Right Person for the Right Job

If you think about it, many systems for hiring staff are based more on perception than reality. Organizations write job descriptions to attract their ideal candidates and applicants say what they need to say in order to win the job they want. At XERC we thoroughly screen candidates for accuracy of their résumé, their honesty and integrity. Both, for the customers and for our own company, we believe in the "Right Person for the Right Job" and we start by looking at the traits which allow a future employee to become a XERC employee. Education is important, but it is only one of the pieces of the hiring puzzle, so don't exaggerate on your résumé. If any single piece of information is found to be untruthful in your résumé, you will automatically be disqualified from the current (and any future) application process.

Security Clearance

All employees and candidates at XERC must be capable of obtaining security clearance and/or police background verification. All applicants must pass police background verification before being hired, and those positions requiring security clearance will have this indicated in the career opportunity description.

Select the career opportunity(ies) you are interested in. For each of the opportunities we ask that you send us via e-mail:

a) A cover letter with your complete contact information and statement indicating if you are capable of complying with the abovementioned security requirements. It should also highlight one or more projects that you have personally led.

b) A résumé or cv.

c) The e-mail's subject line must contain the opportunity's TITLE and REFERENCE Number only.
